society's expectations are like a corset-- something about it attracts us, we give in to it and try it for ourselves, and eventually it shapes the very structure of our physical form into something more accepted and considered beautiful by the masses. we sacrifice comfort, induviduality, full freedom and movement to be more accepted. sometimes, i find myself giving in to it all as well...

just cleaned up the bg, adjusted the color and size, and added a frame.

very nicely put, and very nicely done. totally have to agree with your line of thinking on this one, plus the photograph works fantastically well. i'll give it a :+fav: anyway. quite good with the lighting and composition for a shot taken on self-timer :)
